Look After Yourself

Now that you are exercising 4-5 day a week, you really need to make sure you are looking after yourself. It is important that you get enough sleep, eat well and drink lots of water.

This doesn’t mean that ‘because you are exercising’ you can now eat anything and everything on the menu. Pay attention to what you eat and try to make sure it is reasonably healthy. Make sure you have water with you when you exercise and replace what you have sweat out when you are finished. Getting enough sleep is important for a whole lot of reasons, but when you are exercising, it is the time when your body repairs itself and adapts to the training.
