Set a Goal

Having a goal, or in this case an actual triathlon to train for helps keep you focused and motivated. There will be plenty of days when you wake up in the morning and really don’t feel like training, but knowing that your triathlon is coming up, gives you that extra incentive you need to get moving.

Make sure you select a distance that is appropriate to your current level of fitness and the amount of time you will be able to train each week. Keep it achievable!

In triathlon, you generally choose a triathlon you want to do and then work your way backwards to figure out a starting point for your training. For any of the Tri Pink distances or an Enticer triathlon, even if you are new to this, 8 - 12 weeks is plenty of time to get ready.
